PSPGenesis options

I've downloaded both Rin and SNES emulators for my psp... and they work fine. What I liked about those emulators was that you can increase/decrease the frameskip, change the screen size, change from analog to d-pad, navigate easily, etc.

I tried getting to some kind of menu like that with the PSPGenesis but I can't find one. Is there a menu like the one's that you press left/L for with the SNES and RIN emulators?

Try using DGen, I find it better and it has a full blown menu I think.

Sweet. That's exactly what I was looking for.

My only problem now is.... I can't see any of my roms on the list. It all loads fine but that's the only problem.

Make sure the extension is smd, and make sure they are in the rom folder, if they dont work in the rom folder, try them in the DGen folder that has no % sign.

All of the one's that I have downloaded have been .bin files. Where can I download some .smd files?

Thanks guys.... But yeah, I know about that whole google thing.

Anyways, I figured out my problem, which was to keep the roms outside of the rom folder and in the folder with the DGen (without the % sign). I also figured out that once I did that, then i could have .bin and .smd files.

Yay, problem solved. (Can't find a good sonic the hedgehog rom though)

My next question with this emulator is: Can it play Sega Genesis 32x roms?

Three things! One, I told you that was your problem. Two, you can change the .bin to .smd files by changing the extension in windows explorer (IE rename sonic.bin to sonic.smd). Three, use google and search for sega genesis roms, roms, any sort of keywords like that and you should get some good sites, otherwise, limewire or bittorrent or something of the like would help to... And to answer your question, just experiment and see for yourself.

Well...I was playing Sword of Vermillion on PSPgen and from time to time, whenever i finish a battle, i get an insane amount of exp. points and raise my levels a couple of nocthes. Everything else seems to be running very smoothly as well as all my other gen roms. It's not really a bad thing and it kinda actually helps complete my game faster. I'm just throwing my thoughts out there for someone to possibly shed some light.

PSP Genesis Problem

I was just wondering if anyone can help me out with a little problem that I've been having with the PSPGenesis emulator. I have version 0.13 and every time I start it the main menu is totally screwed up and practically impossible to read. I tried using a newer version ( 0.18 ) but i couldn't even see any font on it. i was clicking around hping to hit something. So is there a better version with this corrected or perhaps a petter genesis emulator to use?
