CFW Question

I'm looking into getting a God of War edition PSP, but i wanted to make sure that it is possible to put CFW on it before I made the investment. I've heard mixed things about the 2000/1 series PSPs and their ability to accept CFW. I figured i would get a pandora battery and go that route, if possible

Another thing, with the Pandora Battery method, do i need to worry about what version of the firmware the psp is running? I've read something about if its past version 5.03, then cfw may not work.

Thanks

I've personally used a Pandora battery on a God of War PSP.

I can assure you it works, However I am not aware if (or if not) there exists versions of said PSP that will not accept it, but I have done it on one of the older God of War PSPs and can assure it works.

Not true anymore by a long shot. If anything, those are the only ones moddable, along with the Simpsons edition PSP and most Madden Blue PSPs (the transition to a new motherboard was in the middle of the Madden Blue production, so some aren't moddable).
