Hello peeps im new to this page, I just got a psp for our puertorican holiday and i just filled it with emu's and roms of SNES and Nes, with some other games like Doom and Pac Man etc. The main thing is that I was wondering how exactly am I suppose to use the MAME emu and if it was possible to run games such as Star Wars Trilogy and The Real Ghostbusters because I would really like to play those games again. Thanks In advance, any help will...help lol thanks

OK, im running on version 2.0 with the emulator to play the brewpacks u guys do here(wich by the way are so cool). I didn't downgrade because when I found the tool from fanjita to play the emulators on 2.0 I thought that it wasnt necessary.

are you using the eboot? it worked for me - i just wrote a tutorial on it on the homebrew forum.... i think you should downgrade to 1.5 - i did but just upgraded to play some 2.0 games - i know psportablev2 has brick free files because they worked for me.... in my opinion you should downgrade - everything seems like it works better...

EDIT - just checked and fanjita's 2.0 eboot loader doesn't let you play mame - it says that it would freeze at startup.. so in order to play it your going to have to downgrade... sorry, but since you have 2.0 you can...

Yes im using eboot, what is interesting is that mame works fine using the eboot from fanjitas what I would like to know are two things:
When downloading a mame rom is there suppose to be only one file(like the snes and nes rom's) or multiples?

If there suppose to be multiple files where am i suppose to put them( i know the rom folder, but is doesnt appear in the list to play?

i haven't tried the mame emu yet, but i would try to download from different sites - you could try fanjitas site, the brewpack, psp-hacks.com, or just google it and see if all the downloads have the same files - but it says on fanjitas site that it only works with the 1.5 and will start, but freeze with the 2.0 eboot..
