I dont know what was wrong, my Sega Genesis Collection UMD crashed when I try to load a game from the menu.
Its hard to explain what it does but when I press Home to get back to the XMB it just freezes on the "Please Wait" screen.
I tried on another PSP and it worked fine. Im using 3.03 OE-C.

Is it just the Sega UMD that does this? Did this happen just once or does it occur every time cause i know my games freeze once in a blue moon on the please wait screen but work the next time around.

Umm well now when ever I play it, it keeps doing it. Before (like iuno a few weeks ago?) it worked fine but now it just wont play any games.
It plays on other PSPs but not this one (this one has CF on it, 3.03 OE-C).
I disabled and enabled No-UMD but that didnt do any differrent. It only happens when I load a game from the collection.

Have you made any other adjustments to your system since the last time you played your genesis collection? plugins or anything

Might want to double check your configuration settings, heres what i use.

configuration
skip sce logo > disabled
hide corrupt icons > enabled
game folder > 1.50 kernel
autorun program at /psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp > disabled
use no-umd > disabled
fake region > disabled
free umd region > disabled

advanced > advanced configuration
plain modules umd/iso > disabled
execute boot.bin in umd/iso > disabled
use isofs driver also in umd-inserted mode > disabled
