Ok, so I JUST had bought a new battery awhile back, PSP was working well and dandy, until recently, it fell and hit something pretty hard on the battery side while it was charging.

Now the only time my PSP will come on is if I have the AC adapter stay plugged in, of course even without the battery inserted. And there's no battery indicator showing on the PSP menu.

I'm starting to think my PSP is done for :( , but I'm hoping it's just another Battery issue. Does this mean I have to
go out and buy another Battery?

I would try someone elses battery just in case before going out and spending your money. Just to see if it comes on.

It's a PSP 1001(Fat). Had it for 5 years now.

I guess I'll stop by my near game store to see if they have a spare battery.

EDIT-Yep, turns out it was just a battery problem, I got it replaced for free. Appreciate the help guys.
