Pandora Battery help (As if you experts haven't seen enough)

Beforehand, I'd like to apologize for the fact that I'm sure all that's required to answer my question is a link to another forum already on this site. I have searched but I want to be completely sure that what I'm doing will work. I've also asked this question on Help.com and what I'm about to put is a direct copy from what I put there. ANYWAYS! After all that rant, here it is.

My resources:
-PSP Slim (I know the motherboard is CHA)
-PSP Slim Original Battery (Real, not fake, it’s a SONY 3.6v 1200mAh)
-Original SONY 1gig memory stick
-Computer (Duh ('Very Happy'))
———————————————————————— —————————————————-

Okay, so I only have the ONE battery and ONE memstick. I want to pandorize the ONLY battery, install CFW, then “depandorize” (I guess the term may be) after I get the job done. That way, I can actually use my PlayStating Portable in a PORTABLE way. If you need me to answer any other questions, that’s fine.
OH! and, it’s on firmware 6.10, so I know that I can’t use ChickHen, that’s why I need this battery to work.

well, if you are willing (and you slim so its un-doable) cut it open and cut the circut. its in a youtube vid, but i believe we have one here.

or, try doing the 5.50 gen D update on the home page and making the pandora, but i doubt itll run. cutting is the way i did it.

ahhh heres the right one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ3EZ11ltA0

skip ahead to around 5 mins in and do that. really easy.

to undo it, take a pencil (mechanical are easiest here) and re draw the circuit. i swear it works or im defying physics

Do you mean modding the battery itself?
I respect the decision you made yourself, I just prefer not to. There's no way to turn the battery pandora and then back? I'm almost certain the battery is pandorable

Would one of them let me modify my battery with the use of my computer? (Without CFW)

I have Windows Vista 32 bit and Linux (Mint) on this machine. I have access to Windows XP but, with it being my step dad's, I can't use it now atm.

I'd assume ubuntu  Anyways, it's Linux Mint 8.

Oh, and on topic here, how stable is the graphite for conducting? I'm thinking about doing that way but I'm afraid I'd be playing my PSP in bed one day and then start getting sparks, setting off the smoke detector and the sprinklers (In an apartment)

I actually already knew that method, it's this new one you've posted the youtube vid on that's catching my attention.

I don't mean to spam this, but it hasn't been answered yet and I'm not sure if you noticed it. I edited a post and added this in
"how stable is the graphite for conducting? I'm thinking about doing that way but I'm afraid I'd be playing my PSP in bed one day and then start getting sparks, setting off the smoke detector and the sprinklers (In an apartment)"

yeah thats the cut and then fix. first one.

it works i swear. done it before, and its un-pandora-izable

OH. I see yah.

mine hasnt done anything in.....2 years. youll be fine. charging and using on a regular basis. no issue. i might wear away after say 4 months, but redraw and your good. it shouldnt though, should be just fine.

also, that way, you can just re-pandora-ize it and hack a friends or something.

Alright. Anything I should look out for when opening the battery with my teeny tiny knife? (A friend in the marines gave it to me :) )
On a side note, I appreciate all the help you're giving me. Most people on other sites just leave a quick response and leave :)

also, your on PSPbrew. its much nicer here. all the others are just snobs.

and no, youll be safe for the most part. curcuits are facing down. when you bend the panel back, just go slow. ive done it countless times. being nice here prevails.
