Back on the scene ... need help

I just got my psp back from my nephew. I wanted to upgrade from a 3.40 OE-A firmware to one of the newer ones. My question is ... Is there a good tut for upgading already customized firmwares, and what FW should I use now. I'm looking for the easiest possible way to upgrade and play cso / iso. please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

5.00 M33

try to find it in the DL section (download) and run it. then go ahead and do an m33 update (should be able to use the update feature to update 5.00m33-4 to 5.00m33-6)

no psn, but MUCH compatibility with MOST games. and welcome. been a while since you used that thing?

i think you may be doing something wrong. if anything, try starting with 4.01 m33 i think it was. that was one of my FAVE firmwares. then update.

make a list of your steps.
