I having trouble getting this to work and I was curious if anyone else has tried to get Chrono Cross to run on this. I went straight from CFW 3.90 to CFW 5.0 and now I cant get it to run. If anyone has managed to get it to work, how did you do it?

Thanks in advance

You probably need to install the latest popsloader for 5.x. Get it from http://alek.dark-alex.org/filez/dax/

Try changing the gameid of the eboot/keys

5.00: Using GameID SCUS-94640 it doesn't freeze on Status screen and it doesn't freeze after beating Mama Komodo. 5.00 m33-3 might be just as good as 3.72 for this game. EBOOT was made with PSX2PSP v1.4.2

I downloaded the program i found to change the game id and changed it to that but no luck..it was a nice suggestion tho. Im just gonna grab a freshly ripped iso and convert it myself and try that.

I did have Crono Cross on my psp but I every time I killed the Mama Komodo the game would freeze right after. I havent tried the changing keys thing that staxx mentions yet but If I remember correctly 3.72 pops worked the best as it only freezes after beating Mama Komodo, while all the other ones freezes at the statues screen and/or the title screen too. I didn't try any of the pops below 3.71 because I was using a muitldisc eboot, so it could be possibly that an earlier one could work if you don't mined having the game split into two. I used RS-GUI PopStationMD v3.00 to make the eboot and I am using the 5.00 pops loader. when I get the chance I might try changing the keys and see if that works.

I played the chronocross multidisk eboot generated from RS-GUI up until the beginning of disk 2, then I made an eboot using popstation 1.24 dinosaur game. Definitely not perfect, but I'm near the end of the game now.
