uber hax

can i edit a PBP with PBP editor and trick the psp to thinking it is a update but a 1.50 pbp and downgrade it? or use the PSPBrew application?

Sure if you can find the code for an update higher than your firmware ;)

OFWs don't run unsigned code.

Like black fox said, once you edit the pbp file it breaks the signature, meaning you can't run it. And with custom firmware well there really is no point because you can run the recovery method to downgrade to 1.50. So why do you need to?

How would you be able to make the file signed again once the file becomes unsigned?

Figure out Sony's encryption key. It'd probably take a couple years with a good computer.
