Ok my cuz is over and he brought his xbox ( NOT 360!) and we dont want to have to run a cord from the living room all the way to the computer room. Is there ANY way he can plug up his xbox using an ethernet cable to my laptop to wirelessly connect to my router?

I have a VISTA laptop so it would be helpful to provide a link on a step by step way to do this..

Thanks

I don't know the specifics at all but I know you can use the laptop as a bridge. Try screwing with the internet properties and crap but I know you can plug up your xbox to the laptop and sue the laptop as a bridge to connect to the router.

Btw, whats your xbox live gamertag? I have to play H2 while I wait to get a 360 :(

Its my cuzis. and its XxcappslegendxX I'll be getting one around christmas........

I dont want it as a bridge. I want it to be like a little dongle like for the 360. Hey ace, send him a request.

Thats it, and nah I dunno know if you can use it as a dongle, but wouldn't that be the same thing as a bridge if you could?
