Well today I was looking for some torrents and went to Dem***id and read this message.

We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience.

So pretty much it is saying "Dem***id = No Canadian Visitors"

So the only way there is by a Proxy server.

Anyway, yea i'd try a proxy server first. If that doesnt work i can ask my uncle for this program he uses that makes the sites thing he is in England

I have an account. Anyways I'm using a good proxy right now so yea I can still download stuff. Just really slow to get to the site.

Ok come on guys, there's already been 1 topic that I can think of recently that talked about that site. It's alright if you guys talk about bit torrent programs but not the sites. Come on it's common sense. Until dpm ok's it that we can name torrent sites, we won't do it.

Yeah I believe torrent sites are allowed of referall and discussion.

I've highlighted the main points for you guys so its a little more clear...

Torrent sites are a source to pirated materials which is why we have been editing them...your allowed to discuss them just as long as the site url is not mentioned or you can bleep them out like ace did above.

Hope that clears things up for you guys.

As long as you can't copy/ paste the censored part into a search engine and find the torrent site, it's fine. Dem***id can't be found as a torrent site on them, so it's acceptable. Still though, remember to keep it clean.
