Error 80020148
![Post Post](./styles/ca_gen2/imageset/icon_post_target.gif)
I'm not sure if this goes here, but I've noticed this happens only with game UMDs bought from the store.
This only works if you have access to the recovery menu.
80020148 means "Unsupported PRX type", coming up when either A)When you are running an iso with a fake mem. stick (Which I've yet to test out so I can cover a little more ground with this error), or B) Because Sony doesn't know how to do things right anymore (No, not really, but there is another reason out there that I'm still unsure about), but, if you're running on an OE homebrew, I've found a way to fix it. This should NOT brick the PSP, but, if it happens to do so, though I'm 95% sure it won't, I am NOT responsible for what happened. Just covering myself up if it were to take place.
1) Remove the battery from your PSP for a few minutes.
2) Put the battery back in and access the recovery menu. (Press and hold R and THEN turn the power on)
3) Under the "Configuration" tab, enable everything EXCEPT "Fake region". (Disable "Fake region" if it is on)
4) Under the "Advanced" tab, go under "Advanced Configuration", then enable everything except "Execute BOOT.BIN in UMD/ISO". (Disable "Execute BOOT.BIN..." if it is on.)
Everything else should be set to default, like it would when you first installed an OE firmware. DO NOT mess with anything else unless you are experienced with doing so.
Hopefully, this'll help anyone who gets this error.

EDIT II:
I've come to find that some of the homebrew apps/games get this error. From what I've tried, repeatedly, what I've stated above CAN NOT make the games or applications run. I've no clue why, plus its a bit over my head at the moment, but hopefully in the future I can find a way to fix it, or force-run the eboot.
