when you play your psp you always need a memory card to play homebrew just like m3 ds real for nintendo ds so will life be all about memory cards just taking up space in your own home as you buy more ?

Well...how else would you play homebrew?....
YOu can still do stuff like play iso's directly from your computer, or buy the dagum game.

If someone finds out how to un-burn a psp disk then i dont see why homebrew games wouldnt be able to be put on it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but UMD's are essentially CD-R's, or DVD-R's. So you wouldn't be able to "un-burn" a UMD, unless they were RW. So maybe XCM will start making blank UMD's that can fit in your dvd drive in the future for their next product?

Well yes Ace, but with everything it is now i would guess its possible to copy over something that essential. O, and why not make a blank UMD? (unless sony has that ®)

Um, dude, you can't write over media such as CD-R, or in our case UMD-R. If the UMD is rewritable then it's possible, but I'm guessing it isn't RW, so it would be impossible. You wouldn't be able to just write over it. The only way to do it is for someone such as XCM to start producing blank UMDs (might be a copyright/trademark thing stopping them), or modify a current small DVD or something. Theoretically of course.

Well yes...i agree with u now. I wasnt thinking UMD-R. Sorry bout that.

So in other words...it wouldnt be worth it in my opinion. I mean...
Buy blank 1.8 GB UMD-R disks for $20+
Or buy a 4GB Stick thats about $50 now and u can write and delete all u want.

Gow, FF VII, and Metal Gear = $150
Burnt UMD-R = $60
4gb Stick= $50

:p Memory Cards are more economical for moderate to intensive use.

See, pirates are helping the enviroment! :p I think that should be a motto somewhere, "Pirates, going green 1 step at a time" or something. Of course, credit goes to Yunoko though. It's all about the enviroment.
