problem with installing game...

sorry i always come here to ask this but you guys are really helpful


when i press install it gets stuck at "computing space requirment" and then i get a error saying "could not acces network location.\."

how do i fix this?

Need more info, game name, etc etc. Is it a vista game?

its called Sins of a Solar empire
i downloaded it off utorrents trying it out before i buy it
looks good and since im poor i dont want to waist money on a game i dont like :)

Probably you don't have the right system requirements, or the game is dead (bad upload).

well i checked i have the system requirements..
are u sure its a bad download? comments were all good things about it and had about 2,000 downloads for a new game

no other solution then downloading a new one?

Um last thing I can think of is install it onto a dvd and then burn it and then play the dvd and try to reinstall it (like most games you download you have to do that.)

DVD.

I would put the ISO(s) as they are on the DVD, and mount the images with Daemon Tools to install/load the game. That should work perfectly. If not you will have to try another method or get another game.

can i use a CD that has like songs on it and replace it with this??

lol, unless the game is under 700mb, then he might be able to use a blank cd or a cd-rw. But I'm guessing it's larger. Just use daemon tools like yunoko said to mount the image. Or get one of your buddies to burn the image to a dvd.
