Upgraded to 3.03oeB and now I am lost as to what to do next.

I have completed my upgrade to 3.03OEB and am having a bit of trouble utilizing its benefits. I was using 2.6 with eLoader and thought that I had a handle on what I was doing. Now I am pretty much lost. The upgrade process went smoothly, but now I have a few issues that I was unable to solve by looking through all of the tutorials. The tutorials will help after getting answers to the following, more specific questions.

Having trouble running homebrew. Which games folder (GAME/GAME150) should I run homebrew apps from?
In the same idea: Do I need to use eLoader/xLoader to run these apps? This is really the key problem. The apps that I used to run no longer function when I reinstalled them.

3.03-OEb is said to support the ripping of UMDs to .ISO and then able to be transferred to and from a PC. Is there a special app that is used for this or is the fastloader process still de rigueur?

I am working on getting my PS CDs as .ISO files but I am a bit unclear as to whether or not I absolutely need to aquire the files from the HS golf game. I understand that if I use PSX2PSP that it will generate the necessary files.

This should get me underway to find the next stumbling block. Thanks for any help.

I would put your apps in the game folder then reboot the psp in recovery mode and set the system to run using the 1.5 kernel not 3.03. Then they should run fine.

If I do that will I still be able to use the newer components or will I have to switch back and forth when I need something like the browser etc?

and there isn't a whole lot of that, just switch the kernel mode to save yourself from the confusion.

You no longer need the eLoader or the xLoader, welcome to 1.0/1.5 homebrew.

To rup a UMD you can use several applications, including booster new application which allows you to rip UMDs directly to you computer via USB.

or you can find a nice ISO site to download what you want.

you do need the Hot Shots Golf PBP file.
