Now here's a tutorial i made on a site called Gamingcube.

Ok- This Guide will show you how to Pandorize your PSP Slim battery and change it back to a normal one!(woot)
NOTE: I am not responsible for any damage to your PSP, PSP battery, etc.

-------------------------------------------Materials Needed---------------------------------------
A PSP (why wouldn't you?)
A PSP Slim Battery
Screwdriver/Razor/knife
TotalNewbieEasyInstaller
Pencil
Eraser(Re-Pandorizing if needed)
A memory Stick over 100 MB (256 MB, 512 MB, 1GB, 2GB or 4 GB are fine)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here it goes, and do at your own risk.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Magic Memory Stick
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, first, download the TotalNewbieEasyInstaller, and extract to a memorable place.
WARNING: Backup all files on your memory card before doing this.
Format your memory stick by going to Settings -> System Settings -> Format Memory Stick
Next, connect your PSP throught USB Mode.
Now run the program "START.EXE" in the TotalNewbieEasyInstaller folder.
Follow all the instructions in the command prompt until the point below.
When given options, 1-5, type 4 and press enter/return.
Then after all work is done, follow more instructions and give credits to the people who helped.
Done! Take the Memory Stick out now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Making the Pandora Battery
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where it gets tricky.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the part where you need a steady hand to do the hardware stuff.
You can Pandorize the battery over and over; it's easy, but we'll talk about it later.
Take the battery out of the PSP, if not done so.
Hold it label side up.
Take your handy knife/razor/screwdriver, and open the edges with it, but not the top, after your done with the left, right, and bottom, lift it so your can take out the top.
Ok, now you will see a board upside down above the battery.
put it so you can see the transistor, modules, etc.
We are going to sever the board itself, or I guess scrape.

The file below is needed for the "surgery" lol.

Image

The red circle is not for us, just ignore it. we'll never use it.
But, the blue rectangle is what we're aiming for.
Take your very helpful knife/razor/screwdriver and sever/scrape the place of the blue rectangle.
DO NOT SCRAPE THE BLACK THING! JUST THE GOLD LINE!
Scrape, scrape, scrape, until the gold line is no more.
It might take a few tries, so don't give up on the first try.
Test it on your PSP; put it in, and if it powers up, just the power led to green, it's Pandorized.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing the firmware
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After we've gone so far, can't quit now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Take you Magic Memory Stick and put in your PSP WITH THE BATTERY OUT.
Now, put in the battery.
The PSP will turn on, with no system, but don't fear; Pandora's here!
After your see the Memory Stick Access led off, press [] (square).REMEMBER, KEEP THE BATTERY IN IF ALL MEANS NECCESSARY, AS IF YOU DON'T, IT COULD RESULT IN A BRICK!
The PSP will shut-off by itself when it is done, but you're not done.
Now, take the battery out, and put it back in.It will turn itself on again(lol, turn itself on)and wait for no Memory Stick activity, NOW, PRESS X. Wait once more, and the PSP will once again shut itself off.
Take out the PSP Battery and hook the PSP up with the adaptor/charger, start it up, and check your System Information. (System -> System Settings -> System Information) if it says "3.71 M33-3", yay! But back up the data in the Memory Stick for emergency future use.
Now, you can format the Memory Stick.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Updating to M33-4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Dark-Alex's website, download the M33-4 Update. Copy the downloaded folder, UPDATE, to GAME in your PSP. Run it like any other Update.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pandora -> Normal
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To go from Pandora to Normal, just "draw" on the severed/scraped spot. The graphite in the pencil will serve as a "broken railroad track fixer" , it might need to take a few tries, but it will certainly work.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Normal -> Pandora
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you ever need to go back to Pandora, just erase the drawed spot. Once more, it might need to take a couple tries.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Might not work on Vista; Will work on XP.

Arigato.

I went through the hardware mod for the slim battery and made the memory stick. When I put the battery into the slim the green LED light comes on, but the screen is black and it doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't read the memory stick either. What should I do? The battery is modified like the picture instructed...

Okay...I used the link in your profile and came up with a stick that had TimeMachine on it, which I have never tried to use. When I put my pandora in, it turns the PSP LED Green, but it does NOT try to read the memory stick. It just sits there on a black screen, doing nothing. I made another pandora before out of a FAT battery...it works fine on the FAT, but again when I put it in the Slim, it does nothing...Green LED, no action.

What am I doing wrong here?

After you install DCv4, Put the pandora in while holding up on the D-Pad.

Keep up held until the menu shows.
