So as a newb I'd like to ask, will this procedure work with my new slimline PSP running firmware 3.61? Or am I looking at a $200 brick?

i just compiled a new EZ install. its a better build than the norm from me and is compatible with 1.50 and older oe users. take a look if you like. it is tested. take a look if you like and let me know how it works and what could be changed.
(note: not compatible with slim psp's)
download 19.69Mb

Well I used that ez install in the first post, it worked fine and im up to 3.52 M33. Now I gotta go to update 4 but the link is down, so that needs to be fixed.
Writing time?

Running the 3.52 M33 creator and it has been at the "Writing 3.52 firmware..." step for about 45 mins. Should I just hold on or should I stop it? Not actually running the update yet.
Maybe I am just being too impatient?

Sweet, that was painless. '-')b Thanks, Newpspdude!!
Should I stick with 3.52 M33, or continue to upgrade to 3.71 (or whatever the latest happens to be atm)?

hey i got a question. is this needed to upgrade to 3.71? in the 3.71 tutorial it says it requires 3.52 FW. right now i have 3.40EO-A FW. do i still need to upgrade to 3.52 then upgrade again to 3.71? seems like a lot of upgrading heh
thanks
