Whatever you do, get a PC so you can try my secret project! :D
Keep a look-out for laptop specials at Walmart. It isn't always the best place, but they have really, really good sales sometimes.

It really depends on your requirements... WoW doesn't take a "gaming netbook". It isn't GPU heavy, it's CPU heavy... The ASUS N61 is a decent all arounder, but i haven't looked at laptops recently so I can't recommend specific models. I'd say step back and really research specific components. And be careful of where you buy from, as different places have slightly different models and warranties.

no ty, that one has intel GMA. worthless unless you want to run anything less than Cod 4 on bare essentials. dont.

The Intel GMA runs WoW fine, I had one that I used to use and didn't have any problems but that was in a netbook. Why you would want to play COD6 on a laptop beats me though.

Not when you're concerned about battery life. Integrated graphics save so much power compared to dedicated it's ridiculous. Depending on the model you can get an extra hour or two with integrated. If all the gaming you're doing is last gen games and wow, you might as well get a laptop with integrated and save some money.

I was about to say I'd have to agree with brent, my netbook seems like it just keeps going and going. Granted it has a intel atom proc, still the same point still stands with the intel gma. Maybe overkill wouldn't be bad on a desktop but when you get a laptop you would think someone would be getting one for portability and battery life. At least thats my opinion.
