Have you noticed more ads on Facebook lately?

Sometimes I scroll through my feed and it feels like there are more sponsored posts than before, mixed with the updates from friends and pages I follow.

It’s interesting to see how brands are trying different ways to catch our attention. Some ads feel natural and useful, while others are easy to skip. I guess it’s all about finding the right balance between staying visible and not overwhelming people.

I’ve also noticed that Facebook has been showing more and more ads lately. It made me curious: how much control do we really have over our browsing experience? So I decided to look into ad blockers and compare two popular options — AdGuard and uBlock Origin.

Both tools have their own approach to keeping the web cleaner, faster, and less distracting. AdGuard focuses on a user-friendly experience with extra privacy features, while uBlock Origin is known for being lightweight and highly customizable.
