Search Sega Genesis cables and it ought to give you the AV cables and AC Adapter you need.

theres like 90 different AC adapters though, i tried. And I tried using one of those RF cables to hook it up with another power supply that my friend said worked but i never got a picture, although the power light did come on. I didnt want to fry it so i stopped.

Where is the model number located at? I have a genesis too.

Edit: OK The RF adapter I have is Model No. 1603A
and the A/V out adaptor is Model No. 1602 I'll also list the power supply for it
Input: 120V 60Hz 35W
Output: 9V DC 1.2A
Hope that helps.

I can't find it. I know it is around. The power supply is 9 volts and I use it to power my floppy dirve interface for my Super Nintendo.

It looks similar to the pics found on this link:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388168

I don't use it anymore because ROMS and emulators are so common.

Basically you would pop the device on the SNES like this huge cartridge then you put a rom image on a floppy disk and insert the disk in the device and turn on the console. The device would read the disk and the SNES would treat it like a regular cartridge.

Anyhow Radio Shack used to sell Universal supplies. Check there to see if they still have any. You might want to get one that is rated for close to 1 amp or it may burn up.

D3ViLsAdvocate, Nice A$$!

thanks, both of you for the info. My dad just told me to try radio shack too. I tried the RF adapter from a SNES but nothing happened, which youw ould think would work being all RF adapters should be the same... but i think i'll try to get some actual RCA cables and a power supply from ebay and radio shack. The A/V out on the Genesis is crazy looking

Que, next time don't double post edit your previous one. I'm sure the info I posted would work with most segas. I believe mine was bought right when it was released.

Probably so, but there might be minor problems. The specs on my NES AC Adapter are:

INPUT: 120V AC 60Hz 8W
OUTPUT: 9V DC 400mA

well should all rf adapters work with all systems (with rf out?)

Yep, they are just an extension of an antenna basically. They all have the same connectors. However, RF adapters have less quality.

So the Audio works? Thats weird, I guess buy a new set of cables. If that doesn't work then the system must be messed up.
IF it doesn't work with other games as well.
