Download and install AVG 8, that should remove it. Norton in my mind sucks donkey, it doesn't do anything and is slow.

Idk if you dont update spybot s&d enough it tends to attract trojans. i had a version of spybot that i didnt update fast enough and it turned into one.

also, if your virus protection doesnt get rid of the virus right away, then its just going to quarantine it which means its still there but it wont further injure your computer. but also this means that its still there and you normally have to delete them manually.
and also aside from all that mess, the damage inflicted onto your computer is most likely permanent until full restore or restore to a previous state.
virus protection is amazing tho. i didnt have it for the longest time, and then i finally got it, and when i did a scan i had like 113 trojans. and more than half were backdoor.
i had no choice but to do a full restore. it killed me.
i also agree with Yunoko. Norton Antivirus is terrible. it does nothing but slow you down and cause more problems. Norton = virus magnet.
depending on how many trojans you've got cause there like wolves and normally come in packs of around idk like 6-12 at a time and are very well hidden, you could have many and not know it.
I also dont know if anyone has mentioned it yet but if you end up finding the trojan and it tells you that its just been quarantined then you should do a Hijackthis list.
its a very simple program and it reads your listing, and tells you what your running. it allows you to save your task manager list and once you save the listing to notepad you can go the there website which is hijackthis.de or something like that, and post your tasklisting.
it then will run your list and give it back to you telling you which you should have running and which you shouldn't. which helped me alot when i was doing clean up. i still use it today even with the antivirus protection.

The easiest way to get rid of a trojan virus is to system restore to 2 day(s) before it was downloaded.

Deff. thats how i had to get rid of em. i must have gone to around 7 or 8 tech support forums. but you should still try HJT . it helps by telling you what is bad.

See, blackzmage learns quick ;) I was just about to say Avast! is my favorite. Its won several awards, not to mention its completely free. After the 60 day "trial" you just give them yuor email address and they send you a key for it and it lasts like another 180 days or something. That's what I put on all the computers I have worked on/ built recently.

AVAST! is AMAZING!
Doesn't slow your computer down either. and the best part about it is its made by people that make viruses so it really knows what to look for.
yea it is 100% free. after the 180 days it just sends you another key too. :D
