Okay so I just ordered a new Dell laptop, and it should be coming in the next two weeks or less. But I have one question, the first thing I want to do is make an Image Back Up, but don't know how to do it, or what software to do it with, like is there already software on the computer that does it or what? Also I will probably make a DVD copy of it so I will not lose it but I need instructions on how to do it all.

Thanks.

like a copy of your computer....as in OS?

There is a program in control panel that does that.

That? Yes I know about that but you only can back up the full computer if you have Windows Vista Business or Ultimate, which I do not have. I can back up files etc, but not programs or OS/Program settings, so I need some sort of Image Ghost Back up, that is free and easy to use.

....or get a torrent of Ultimate. Upgrade without changing the OS. Back it up then. And install Ultimate on your new laptop.

:D

Just "obtain" a copy of software designed to do that. Lazy n00b.

Seeing as I don't like to broadcast the fact that we all break the law here, I was implying you get up off your a**, and do a search for a torrent/crack of this program.

I'm doing this so I don't get a virus. I don't want a virus infested program that Fu.cks everything up, which I am trying to save.

just use PB or something. if theres somthing wrong with the program then if you read the comments on the bottom of the torrent download then the people that downloaded it will tell you if its a good file or not. including viruses.
