Video Help

Kay well I have been watching everyday live stream video but the person who is doing it has 800 (not sure if its bit or kilobit or w/e) video and 300 mpg3 audio. And it is killing my computer like I have a pretty good internet, and decent computer but like I tried it in IE7, FF2, and Safari and it just pretty much freezes my computer like the video and audio are almost perfect but my computer just starts laggying like I was watching it and tried opening NOTEPAD and it took 18mins. Like what should I do I tried tweaking firefox in about:config so it stops memory leaks and has dropped my memory rate but still my computer is so slow when watching it. So options?

Look at this stuff
http://reviews.cnet.com/Speed_up_Firefo ... 17472.html
http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-boost- ... speed-4103
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/745796/ho ... p_firefox/

I only watched all of the first video, but the 2 others look like it has more in depth things to help.
