True, I guess what you pay for is what you get with the PS3 .

Seems to be. All I can tell you is that there are big updates coming our way on the PS3 and the hype is building for the PS3. Sales are picking up and a whole slew of great big name exclusives are coming within the next year. I cannot wait for God of War 3!

The 360 is the big man on campus now but it better watch out . The 360 has been the "Better" system for a while because of the huge fanbase. The PS3 was right there with it in the beginning, it has the same capabilities plus some. The price is the only thing that ruined it, if it was cheaper then Sony wouldn't be in this boat. However when they first came out, it cost about $800 to produce the console.

What was Sony thinking when they came out with this, they wasted s0000 much potential

They wanted to create one hella powerful machine, but its been a terrible investment so far losing an estimated "1.97 billion in the fiscal year ending March 2007." (Wikipedia)
They wanted to create a machine to play massive games but it says here games are only using 30% of the machine's power. I can't wait to see a game that uses a full 100%. It's gonna be a sweet game, it seems Sony will have to make it since other developers aren't doing it. Maybe God of War 3?

God of War 3 ONLINE! I wouldn't be surprised since about every big game has online play.

That would mean that it would have to be intensely integrated into a HUGE plotline, my mouth is watering

The only "hidden fee" that I have paid for in a 360, is xbox live. Xbox live isn't even necessary, and like you said, you get what you pay for. My halo 3 edition came with a rechargeable battery, no RROD yet, and it came with an cat5 cable. So for me there are no hidden fees. The 360 is simply cheaper then the ps3.

I would like to see a list of those hidden fees mice.

My cousinS 360s came with 25+ foot Cat5 cables. I was like what the heck??? mine came with a 10 footer.

25 ft! Usually stuff comes with really short cables. Why would you need 25ft lol.
