Honestly go with the xbox. its going to have alot of the really good titles that the ps3 is getting and its cheaper to boot. plus on top of all that, all the money you saved can be used on xbox live if you really like online play.

no srry advent. i take that back. that was my fault. i had a bad source of info.but theres soon to be plenty others. and also, why wouldnt MGS4 come out for the 360? theres no reason it shouldnt if not for just a little while after the ps3 has made all the sales its gunna make.

I bought a home gaming PC and I couldn't be happier. Thought I'd throw that out there. PC games are capable of much more intense graphics than console game systems and are just as capable of providing the same type of great gaming experiences. Surely not for everyone, but it works well for me.

EDIT - MGS4 won't come out for anything other than PS3, just as all of the other Metal Gear games only launched on one system.

Yea but only for launch. Because Metal Gear solid : substanance came out for the xbox a while after the launch for the ps2 version of it.

What are the upcoming 360 exlusives?

Resistance 2
God of War 3
Kingdom Hearts 3
LittleBigPlanet
Killzone 2
Massive Action Game
DC: Universe Online
And Socom

And those are all noteworthy games, not just toss-up titles.

Is there a link to total PS3 sales and total 360 slaes since their release?

The 360 has sold a lot more than the PS3, but the Wii definitely takes the cake as far as units sold. I'm not sure of where to get exact sales numbers, but I know that what I just said is true.

And Subsistence was the ONLY Metal Gear game to go cross-platform. Even then, it was a more "dumbed down" version that included LESS content. It just seems very unlikely that MGS4 will be released on anything but PS3 - even though I'd love it for PC.

I figured the figured would be on Wikipedia but I guess not. I just know that the PS3 has outsold the 360 in Europe and Japan.
The 360 stands high in America though.

That just pushes me more in the middle, I was leaning towards PS3 but now I just don't know...

you may have ended up buying that 360 and it being busted when you get it. you never know. thats why life is supposed to be a supprise.

I like adventure games and FPS, and I think only is gewd when it has co-op, and I can play with my friends

Jak and Daxter was sweet so was GoW but since I never had an XBOX I can't compare

ok then. your best bet is for the ps3 then. because theres not that many great adventure games for the 360 that really stand out.
and if you get the ps3 you'll have free online play.
