Still not sure who is Chuck Norris. LOL! If he is famous, then I must have been living underneath a rock.

Hes a famous actor that played in the TV series 'Walker Texas Ranger' and also many films. He just basically roundhouse kicks a lot of people and gets shot at but always lives. :D

Nope, never seen that series, I hardly watch any TV. So he is only a TV actor? That really doesn't make him to famous, am I right?

Just movies, tv shows. What really made him famous is the Chuck Norris fact list that came out of no where. He has a black belt in karate and I think he is a teacher and has his own dojo or something.

Yeah, I guess he is way before my time. I am not a big fan of American martial artists. Never was a fan of Steven Segal--he is also a joke.

I did read a wiki report of Chuck Norris and he seemed to have lost just too many competitions, he was mostly defeated in most of the big events. Unlike Jet Li who retired as a champion at the age of 17--he kicked a lot of donkey!!

Chuck I guess was the big white hope for Americans who were fascinated by Martial Arts when Hollywood didn't want to cast a Chinese as a lead actor--just like what Bruce Lee had to go through in his life story. I still laugh that they chose another actor to play the role of Kung Fu, that should have been Bruce Lee's part--he was a true Martial Artist, not the puppet they casted in his place.

Where do you live? I had 3 rather minor earthquakes throughout the day yesterday, and I live in Michigan. I'm just pissed that I didn't recognize them... I was dead asleep.

Hes not like a big time martial artist, he is mainly just an actor. When hollywood picks parts they usually just pick actors, and Chuck Norris was a favorite from his TV series.

Actually Chuck Norris is pretty big in Tae Kwan Do, being the first westerner to be awarded the 8th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He also opened up 32 karate schools by the time he was 34 years old. And also got the triple crown in 1969. He's pretty beastly, and theres a lot more he has accomplished too. So yea, I have no idea how you have not heard about him, and on top of it he was an actor ^_^

Yea I think Tae Kwon Doe is a defense martial art. What all martial arts are there?

Tae Kwon Doe
Kung Fu
Tai Chi
Open up a can of whoop-a**
Or theres some others.

I guess it is, it's what a lot of like womens defense classes teach. He also had a black belt in something else, I can't remember though. Now that one was a weird name that's all I remember about it.

He's a very wealthy man. All is well that ends well, but only if you're Chuck Norris.
