I could go that big but there's no point =D, I like it the way it is (it's perfect). How big's your display resolution? 2560x1600?
Posted: Thu Jul 10, 2008 5:51 amIt's whatever I feel like up to 2560 x 1600. I'm at 1600 x 1200 right now. If I adjust it higher then sometimes I miss the icons on my desktop when trying to click. To fix that, I would increase the size of the icons... and that nearly defeats the purpose lol. I would do dual display but I'm on a CRT right now (which is why I can hit those resolutions no prob).
CRT isn't so bad. Only two complaints are the room they take up and the heat they give off.

Posted: Thu Jul 10, 2008 7:02 amBleh I'm at 1024x784 and it's perfectly fine for my taste. But aside from the huge size of a CRT (which I don't have room for) and the heat, I also have never really seen a crt that has good of a picture as a good lcd. Maybe I've only used cheap crt's but I think the picture sucks on them compared to lcd's. At least they made them with the flat screens and no glare. Plus they get really bad off with magnets around them, which I don't have magnets laying around my monitor but still, that is a con.
