I watched the microsoft press conf. and really didn't see any big announcements. Maybe the home rip off and
ff13 was note worthy. When that last trailer came on I thought it was going to be a ff7 remake for the 360.

Their Mii rip-offs aren't gonna do so well.



The only things I saw coming out, were a lot of crappy knock-offs. They think just because it's on the 360, it's the unique. All the things they said they were coming out with were copies of other consoles.
Except Netflix.
It seemed to me that they tried shoving everything they can into the console at the last minute. It made me loose respect for everything I had for 360...

And Fallout 3 demo was a big, big let down.
I'm sorry, but that was sooooo boring!!

They didn't show any games that I didn't know about except ff13.

ff13 for xbox is a horrible idea! what was sony thinking about letting them do it?
Can square even put FF13 on dvds? wont that be like 10 or so discs if it was going to be a dual layer blue ray?
Think ill still get it for ps3 since it will probably kill the xbox (just like oblivion taxed the system to the extreme).

all in all it is a horrible idea imo.
square and microsoft let me down, wont be as good for 360

It looks cooler. The avatar idea (for the fanboys...stolen idea) seems stupid at first, but could end up very cool. A whole new look is just what the xbox 360 needed.

I like the XMB sooo much better.
I was just saying though. It reminded me a lot of the Zune.

Man, gt.com forums is flooded with sony fanboys. Crying over a game(FF13) thats not a playstation
exclusive anymore. I mean come on, what are they mad about, they are still getting the game.

Plus ff13 versus is still a ps3 exclusive.

i just think the 360 version wont be as good since they cannot use high capacity media like blue ray or hd. It will just be a slap in the face for those who enjoy an amazing ff experience.
i dont care its not exclusive, even though it will kill ps3, but it wont be done right. Unless of course is 7-10 discs long (ouch)

WHOA! another cool thing i found the 360 is going to do is "rip" your disk to your HDD. What does this mean?- Way (way!!) faster load times and less noise. You still have to have the disk inserted tho for "pirating reasons"

That means you would have to wait a really long time to save it to your hard drive before you got to play it!
That also means taking up a lot of space on your hard drive!
I know I would want to do that with my games! Fill up my hard drive with games that should be read off the disc!
I know you have a 120 GB hard drive but what about those who have a smaller one?
Or people who don't have one at all?

on some PS3 games u have to put so much on ur HDD as well.


60GB is the new advanced HDD anyway.

Well I will not be able to watch it live, but on the internet because of things happening to me this week but whatever, I was just wondering though if anybody knows were I can download it to my computer I can stream it online but wanted to download anybody know were / how.

good point crait, it would be so nice if you didnt need the disc...then it would be worth it. less load times imo is not justification enough.
if i didnt need the disc i would go buy a elite and sell mine (since microsoft now lets you switch your gamerscore from box to box, Finally! way overdue imo)

Yall are missing the point. Yes, microsoft wants the disk in...but they are letting you save to the HDD.

THAT is one step closer to pirating in the first place. It would be SO easy to locate what your xbox is looking for (such as the key) and put 50 keys on one disk. Then you dont even have the Halo disk in, but a custom disk.
