There are a lot of fishy things about September 11, 2001 but I honestly do not think that the Simpsons episode was in any way a part of that.
The Towers were a symbol of New York for many years, it is no coincidence that they were on the book cover. The coincidence is, why make the price of the book cover $9? That seems so arbitrary. Why not $10? I will tell you. Because it was intended to be a joke. 911 is the number we dial whenever there is an emergency so looking at the book cover in 1997 when the program was released you should have thought about that and chuckled.
Little known facts about September 11, 2001
The events of this day are significant. Even the day itself is significant because September 11 marks the beginning of the new year in the Coptic Calendar (
http://www.copticchurch.net/easter.html ). Just like some of us begin our resolutions on January 1st, September 11 was the beginning of a resolution of sorts we know this already. The fact that this date was chosen for the attacks is
no coincidence.
Allow me to explain,
September 11 is also known as "The Feast of Neyrouz", like I stated, it marks the first day of the Coptic Calendar known as "the Year of the Martyrs" or "ANO MARTYRUM, A.M.".
I do not know who or what Neyrouz is but, I do know what a martyr is. A martyr is a person that dies for a cause. On September 11, 2001, 3000+ people died for someone's cause. Depending on how you look at it they can be considered "Martyrs" I know it is sick, not my fault, I am just presenting facts here.
If this Neyrouz is considered to be some supernatural being then one could also conclude that the people that died were sacrificed and Neyrouz devoured their souls, hence the term "The Feast of Neyrouz".
I apologize in advance if I offend but, I believe all of what I stated to be fact.
I hope you, like me find it difficult to dismiss the date, the calendar and it's significance as coincidence.
Thanks for reading.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.
