THIS ONLY POWERS THE PS2 CONTROLLER IT DOES NOT ACTUALLY WORK IT JUST TURNS ON THE ANALOG LIGHT! ALSO IM USING A PS2 CONTROLLER SO IT MAY NOT WORK ON PS3!

I am still working on this mod but i decided to make a tutorial so if anyone gets further than get tell me.

1. Cut the Controller and USB Wire and then strip both. I AM NOT RELIABLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS
2. Connect the Black and Gray wire on the controller. (GROUND) To the Black wire on the USB.
3.Connect the Pink wire on the Controller to the red one on the USB.
4.Tape them up.
5. Plug the USB into a Port on your comuter. I AM NOT RELIABLE IF YOUR USB PORT GETS FRIED!
6. The analog light should turn on.

If you get any further and get the controller to function please post it i have been working on this mod for awhile and gave up for a bit!

I'll look up some information, this would be cool to do since I have several PS2 controllers around

. Except one is starting to wear off, the second one I bought with the system. The one that came with the system is already bad.

Many thanks for that great link. I like the idea of a '1 controller does all'.
I know there are some adapters around but where is the fun in that?

i got myself a logitech pc control pad which is exactly like the ps2 control pad and only paid around £5-10 for it..

although i did see on Qj.net some cool mod for the eyetoy to work on the pc, im certain i seen a control mod also..
