I think the updated HBC is causing you the problem. Try uninstalling HBC and loading an earlier version of it. If you can get the earlier version to work, then go find Wiiscu and install everything. I had the same problem when I updated my HBC, I kept getting a black screen, so I went and found an older version of HBC and replaced it in the Bannerbomb. The problem is that for some reason the updated HBC installs on IOS60 on some machines and most people don't have that installed. So it will just give you a black screen.

I don't remember where I found mine, you will just have to google an earlier version and do some searching. I would also suggest using google to explain Wiiscu. Basically what it is, is an installer that will install the IOS you need to run the updated HBC.

It works fine for most, however not for everyone Alex. It is documented that the latest update to HBC has caused problems for many users since it tries to run off of IOS60. Your reply helped the OP none I might add.

To the OP, all you do is replace the HBC dol with the old one in the bannerbomb. Then uninstall your current HBC and run your fixed bannerbomb as usual, if done correctly you will see the old version on the top of your screen during install. I would only install HBC to begin with and see if that works. If it does, then you need to run Wiiscu and install everything with the old HBC, after that is finished you are free to update HBC.

From reading your replies I haven't seen any subjects you excel at, I'm tempted to believe someone else installed homebrew for you.
