Developer Albert "Isobel" Herranz has released an implementation of a Linux system on Wii with his Whiite-Linux v0.1a!
Whiite-Linux allows you to use your Wii as a PowerPC based Linux computer.
Whiite-Linux doesn't have support for the sensor bar, but it does have support for USB devices! It supports Keyboards, Mice, and even hard drives.
