Videos?

Sorry guys in advance, XBox definitely isn't my forte. Anyways, in short, my question is this:
Is there any way to put videos onto the HDD?
Yes, I google'd it. Yes, I realize that the answer is probably no. But I just wanted to see if there was any headway in the area. It's ridiculous that I can pay $100 for a 250 gig hard drive to go with the slim, but can be so limited in it. From what I've read, even a SATA cable isn't the answer since the videos aren't "Digitally Signed" (?)

Re: Videos?

Hmmm, you know I've never really thought about doing that till now. Up till now I've always just streamed videos off my computer through media extender or w/e its called, or bought them thru zune. I'd try putting the movie on a flash drive and see if you can play it thru there. If you can stream videos I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to store them on your hd.

Re: Videos?

Alright, well thanks. Yea, it can play through USB but there's no option to save them. And you can't rip them as you would music. Doesn't even work with a plain .avi. I was just curious because I'm always taking my xbox over to other people's houses, and the less I have to pack with me the better.

Well thank you guys again, if anyone could shed some more light on this I'd appreciate it.

I appreciate it, but this is one-way. It won't let you do this in reverse.
