I just want to know, does your X-live account get banned when play fake games online or does it get banned even if you just hack it and play original games online?

Not sure what you mean by fake games, I'm going to assume burnt games? Currently your xbox live account does not get banned when you flash your dvd drive's firmware to play backups, only the xbox has the possibility to get banned. But we think that the way it is detected is when you update your dashboard with a flashed dvd drive thats what flags your xbox for a ban and then like every Christmas (it seems like) m$ bans the flagged xbox's, not the account.

However, I flashed my xbox with the ixtreme LT firmwares and put in the stock dvd drive whenever I have an update and have yet to be banned. I've been doing it for quite some time now since like march? So yea.

Are you talking about the new XBox 360 or the original 360?

When the ban wave happens, a little box pops up saying 'Your console has been banned" or something along those lines and you won't be able to connect to xbox live with that console, and you won't be able to get achievements between the banned console and an unbanned one without resigning your account on your computer every time.

Micro$oft can detect a your drive even if you are using an original game.

The best way is to have 2 xboxes, one modded and one not then swap your hard drive between the two.

No problems for me.
