I have a couple original Xbox units here that have their disc tray all messed up. There's a metal casing around the DVD drive and there's a plastic piece that hangs from the top and holds in the discs as they're spinning in the console. The problem is that if you close up the Xbox completely, the tray will get stuck on the part that holds the disc in and the disc tray won't eject.

I'm wondering if anyone has any quick-fixes or anything for this sort of thing or has an idea what to do. I'll be uploading pictures in a bit.

You mean the magnet is not letting go of the assembly under the disc?
