and microsoft is finding those sysytems and banning them from live so be carefull

From what I read most, if not all, the drives used in the 360 now are Lite-on drives which are not flashable as of yet. If you get one of these drives you'll need a special adapter to be able to read and copy the firmware from the drive's flash chip, copy it, buy a new drive that IS flashable, flash your original's drive's firmware on it, and use the new drive in your xbox.

I have heard of retail drives that supposedly you can buy from your big box stores. Anyone know of these?
