Red light!

i think my xbox gave out...maybe not
but if one quarter of the circle is red is it fixable?
it just says System Error
can any body help?

Go to llamma.com i think they have a tutorial on how to fix the red ring.

Would there happen to be a letter/number error code on the screen? Here is a great tut on error codes.

E74: There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement
i got a hardware problem....
