xbox 360 dead?

haha lol... okay i called and it said my warrenty is out or something... i though i had a 3 year? well they said they would send a box but it would cost 100 dollars....so what should i do since my warrenty is done

Well I mean that might not fix it, but if the warranty is out, and you don't feel like paying $100 then I say take her(or him) apart. You can use my tut, and I will link you some tuts on xboxscene when I get home from school, unless vkf beats me to it.

you would figure microsoft would build their crap better...i've owned damn near every system from intelevision right up to the 360 and none of them have burnt out on me...i can still play my intelevision like i just got it yesterday and that thing is over 23 years old. 5 months with my 360 and the damn dvd drive dies on me.

Yea things aren't built as good as they used to. They don't last nearly as long.

i really dont know anything bout my xbox 360 except playing it, so i wont know anything about opening it up and fixing it

The 360 does NOT perform like crap.

I played around and took the InterCooler i bought off my 360 and i couldnt hear it at all. I was like "Dang, is this thing even on???". It didnt get hot either. I love my Elite.
