Menu

Menu - Open

Press start button and select "Open" item, and you can select a savedata(Cross(×) key to choose / Circle(○) key to back / Arrow keys(Up and Down) to select).
After you select a savedata, menu will be closed and binary editor will be active.

Menu - Save

Press start button and select "Save" item.
Edited binary will be committed to real savedata.

Menu - Create backup

Press start button and select "Create backup" item.
Then active state will be saved into /PSP/SAVEDATA/(opening savedata dir)/(data file).backup .
You can edit this file on your PC (this file is already decrypted!)

Menu - Restore from backup

Press start button and select "Restore from backup" item.
Then active state will be restored from backup file.

Menu - Quit with saving

Press start button and select "Quit with saving".
Then application will quit after saving data.

Menu - Quit without saving

Press start button and select "Quit without saving".
Then application will quit after soon.

Menu - Back

When menu is shown, select "Back".
Menu will be closed. only so.

Binary Edit

Editing binary may be a little complex for beginners.

Binary Edit - Moving cursor

Arrow keys can be used to move "active address" cursor.
L Trigger and R Trigger can be used to move cursor "page to page".

Binary Edit - Changing Value

You find the address that you want to edit, Press Cross(×) key. Then active color will be changed into red.
You can change value by pressing arrow keys as following: Press Cross(×) key to move to next address, Circle(○) key to leave from editing.

Binary Edit - Turbo Mode

If you are entering value, you can use Turbo Mode.
Press Square(□) key to switch Turbo mode between normal editing mode.
You can change value by pressing arrow keys as following: Press Cross(×) key to move to next address, Circle(○) key to leave from editing.

Binary Edit - Editing savedata on your PC

PSP's savedata is encrypted to prevent you from editing it.
But you use Cheatworks PSP Type S, you can edit savedata on your PC.
