need update from original 3.03 to best custom firmware plz

Can anyone help me? i'm new to this and my psp is firmware 3.03 but i want to update to a custom firmware but don't know how to go about it. all i know is bits and bobs, so a step by step guide would help me alot. thanx.

so can i do this even though it's the original 3.03 firmware.

no, you need to downgrade to 1.5 and update to 3.03 OE-C

but theres a newer custom firmware out, or are u sayin that's the best one

He is saying that its the best. Stick with 3.03 OE-C.

my psp firmware is actually 3.11

But i have another one on firmware 3.03

If you have a 3.03 firmware, then go out and find a GTA: Liberty City Stories with the upgrade "2.00" and then you are able to go back to 1.50. After that, get a hold of an easy installer 3.03 oe-c and then done!
