Dear people who are participating :
If a poster makes a mistake in a post, then please PM it to him rather than posting it here as itwill confuse other people later on.

1. I thought we can play games on a memory card, why aren't mine showing?
A: You will need CFW to play .iso games.

Tip - To check whether you have CFW or not, Go to System Settings, System information.

Had to take the common one :) :

2) What's a Pandora Battery / magic memory stick / custom firmware?
A) A Pandora Battery is an amazing tool that puts your PSP into service mode. From here, you can install custom firmware instead of the official firmware that Sony puts out. You make / buy the battery (Tons of guides out there, Google's your friend and so is this site) and use it in pair with a Magic Memory Stick. This contains the files that'll put your PSP on custom firmware. You use these two together, they don't work separately.

It's not the religion that causes wars, it's the men who use religion as a means to control people that do.

3) I'm not sure what I want, CFW or OFW, Which one is better?
A: To play homebrew or .iso games, you will need CFW. If you are happy with buying UMD(s) or PSN games and do not want to hack your psp or play fake games, then you should stick with OFW.

Notice - If you install CFW, or mod your PSP, your guarantee will become void.
