Help i want to change the name of a save.

hey i want to change the name of a save its midnight club la remis it says NQJ1 and i want to change it but i dont know how to. How can i change it? Is there a hack or something?

Uhh... rename it? Left click it once then hit F2 to rename it?

Sorry, I know absolutely nothing about savestates....
Anyways, here's something you could do regardless.

Take a savestate that you already have of that game and paste it to your computer.
Take the new savestate and put it on your computer as well.
Make the new savestate have the exact same name / extension (if there is any with saves) as the original.
Leave the old save on your computer, put the new one in the exact same position as the old one.

Like the player's name? I don't think that'd be possible, unless there's some gameshark or actionreplay code that lets you open up the character's name again... I'd do some research on it but only if I was sure that's what the problem was.
