Downgrading from 5.50 gen D3 to D2 help

Hi again, so ive been told D3 is somewhat buggy,that is what i use currently use, if i wanted to switch to D2 from D3 ,how would i go about that?

Do i just run D2 updater? also what if i wanted to go back to D3 is there just one update for that also? because i read there maybe a D3 final patch and savegame fix also

Im not to sure because my Psp (2002) came pre-modded with D3, So i dont know the process myself

Im not sure, but i used Helicat's recovery flasher, went back to 5.00 m33 then to d2... not sure if that would work for you..

D3 isnt buggy at all. i use and it runs just fine!

Yeah im pretty happy with D3 but it cant play MGS peacewalker Jp, it freezers alot, but it is fine on D2,i think ill just wait and see what happens with the english ver

First download Hellcats recovery,

Then download the 5.00 OFW

Download them both and then put the 500.pbp file in your root (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this please)
After that, run Hellcats and the change your firmware to 5.00CFW
then just update to D2. I don't see why that wouldn't work...

Notice that to do this "quick update" you have to have Gen-D installed first... It's all on the site.

I'm honestly not sure as I'm not used to the Gen-D versions. I first started with the PSP back in like 3.60 through 5.00. Then I took a bit of a break and came back to see these Gen-D versions... Anyways, I'm not sure on that. I know that my way will work it just takes a bit of time. If that way's quick and you got it from a reliable source then go for it.

You should have no problem just running the updater.

I just been using D3-D2 switcher now, works great! Just make sure KHPPS plugin is off when using switcher or it will semi brick.... easy to fix but yeah
