how to get full games like poemon yellow

im new to this an what im looking for the ability to download the full pokemon game but i will need step by step instructions an like i said im new to hacking so i need the instrucions to be "dumbed down"....thanks for your help

What you are looking for is called a ROM though. I suggest searching google for it, download a good PSP Gameboy emulator and placing it in the folder specified by the readme.

ok welll im looking for a game like pokemon...(little "animal" you train and battle with) i ggogled pokemon an psp an was directed to a forum that told me to come to this website an would be albe to download games like pokemon crystal...are there games like pokemon...also i downloaded 2 games but cant figure out how to download it to the psp...can you help

You can actually put the original games on your PSP but you have the digital form of the game called the ROM.
Then, you run the ROM with an emulator. Kinda like sticking the game into the Gameboy.
We can help with showing you where to find them but we can't give you direct links to it.
The emulator is easy and legal but we need to know if you have custom firmware on your PSP or not.
If you don't already, then there's going to be an extra step before you can play Pokemon on your PSP.

to my knowledge there is nothing extra on my psp i bought brand new an never knew you could this...os no custom firmware...i would like to put games like pokemon on my psp but like i said i have no idea of how any of this works...so i would need a very well explained step by step instuctional set up to walk me thruogh the ways to do this...thanks for all your time you have already helped...

What type of PSP do you have? A 1000, 2000, 3000, or Go?

What is your firmware?

Do you know what an emulator or a ROM is?
