Zelda Disc Problem

I am trying to run the Twilight Hack using the Wii Pack Generator and I am able to get everything to show up and copied on to my Wii from the SD card, but after I hit A + B on the rental Zelda Disc a black screen comes up saying The Game Disc could not be read. Please refer to your Wii Operations Manual for more information.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Is it due to the fact that the disc is a rental (and is a little scratched) and not in brand new condition?
Is there anyway that I can fix this? All my other discs still work fine.

That means the disc you're using is scratched. You should take it back to the place you rented it from and demand another one.

Yeah that is what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure no one else had that problem. Thanks for the answer I will just have to find a place that rents non scratched wii games
